Gameiro: "I'm back and ready to play"
Kevin Gameiro spent two seasons at Atletico Madrid before his move to Valencia CF, and the Frenchman is ready for this weekend's encounter with his former club.
The striker is back in contention for a place in the squad, having recovered from an injury suffered in the LaLiga game against Getafe. Now he wants to help his side achieve a third consecutive victory and get amongst the goals again.

"I feel good. I'm back training with the team and I'm ready to play," he told VCF Media Radio on Wednesday.
"I've been out for three weeks, and I can't wait to play again. I had a good preseason and I started the season well. I hope that the injury absence doesn't interrupt that."
Asked for his assessment of his former club, Gameiro explained that "This game is a very good one. It's going to be very difficult to play against Atletico Madrid, but we are going to go to the Wanda with a lot of motivation and push to the fullest to try to win the game."

"Last season we had a good game there, scored twice and came close to winning. We know that against a side like them, who are so difficult to score past, that even if you do so it becomes more difficult to win if you concede three times. They defend very well, and when they get a chance they put it away."
Gameiro has been training with the team in anticipation of his return to LaLiga action.
